Yes. All weight loss services are supervised by a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, with regular check-ins to monitor progress and adjust your plan as needed.

Required baseline tests include: complete metabolic panel (CMP), complete blood count (CBC), TSH, Lipid Panel, B12, and A1C. If you have had these drawn within the past 90 days, you may bring them into your consultation. These are standard labs covered by most insurance companies. We review blood counts, electrolytes, cholesterol, diabetic screening, and thyroid function.

This specialty panel includes Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, as well as iron, zinc, copper, selenium, and magnesium. I highly recommend these labs as they show what nutritional deficiencies need to be addressed before and during therapy. A patient-specific diet and supplement plan will be created based on findings. Without correcting these deficiencies, there is a higher chance of regaining weight, muscle wasting, and hair loss. Most of these panels are NOT covered by insurance. I have a special discounted cash pay price through Quest Diagnostics.
